COACHING METHOD
1) 3-J Model
The 3-J Model is unique to Tall Oaks Coaching and has been crafted from decades of coaching experience by our founder.
A Friend Like Jonathan • A Coach Like Jethro • A Connection With Jesus
2) Asking Great Questions
We don’t believe in telling our clients what to do. The best coaches ask great questions and coach them to think through and discern what the Lord wants them to do, along with their own desires.
3) Pursuing a Relationship with Jesus
The foundational component of our coaching method is to help our clients pursue a solid, personal relationship with Jesus. The heart of this pursuit is the “40-Day Challenge”. It’s not optional, it’s essential.
Set a daily appointment with the Lord. Put it on your calendar. Keep the appointment. A place without distraction and a time that cannot be interrupted.
Read God’s Word like you would read a love letter.
Slow and intentional. This is what we call “slow down to speed up.” Let the words of the Bible settle in your heart and soul.Write your prayers out word for word in a journal.
This moves you from rote prayers to real relationship praying.
This simple, powerful challenge is a game-changer. It’s not just for 40 days, but for LIFE!
